A non-gamer friend of mine read this strip and accused me of writing in Aramaic, or flat out making up gibberish. I apologized for the obscurity of the conversation relative to his areas of knowledge, but then this was a guy who could tell me the powers and weaknesses of every DC and Marvel villain since 1969. Me, I didn't even know there was more than one Green Lantern. We're all guilty of wanting to talk about these inaccessible topics that are close to our hearts. I just happened to have a web site where I can indulge myself from time to time.

Within 24 hours, Bauhaus releases a new album (inspiring my inner black-hearted Goth), and Gary Gygax passes away (crushing my inner magic-user geek). What up with that, world?

I'm getting better-- the arrival of nearly 40 lbs. of temple oranges bodes for the return of full health. I'm genki enough that I'm trying out some really weird things this week-- expect amateur attempts at illustration stunts instead of plot. The blue pencil really has me trying things out.
