I had a prospectus all written up once for a scholarly paper on regional variations in the pronunciation of names from fantasy games. The idea was to chart the paths of communication in subcultures/gaming communities. Some ideas are just too geeky.

I'm getting better-- the arrival of nearly 40 lbs. of temple oranges bodes for the return of full health. I'm genki enough that I'm trying out some really weird things this week-- expect amateur attempts at illustration stunts instead of plot. The blue pencil really has me trying things out.
