February 12th, 2001 -- And a goose egg
Original Babbler for 02/12/2001: If you're missing something from today's strip, you haven't seen enough Marx Brothers movies. Go now. More important news flash: I have just received permission from L. Laser, creator of the delightful Growing Up Goth comic strip (www.growingupgoth.com) to do a crossover.
The Alas/G.U.G strips will start running on Feb 20th, after I get back from Katsucon 7. Huzzah!
New Babbler: In addition to being a Udo Kier/Christopher Walken fan, I am a Marx Brothers junkie.

Happy Halloween, gneeches! I know it's been a slow year, but I couldn't let this day go by without a strip. I'm more optimistic about next year... more specifically, next semester, when I'll only have one evening class. In the meantime, I gotta go be the stranger who hands out candy.

Alas will be back for the month of October. How can I let a Halloween go by without her?

Within 24 hours, Bauhaus releases a new album (inspiring my inner black-hearted Goth), and Gary Gygax passes away (crushing my inner magic-user geek). What up with that, world?
