March 3rd, 2001 -- Growing Up Goth crossover, part III
Original Babbler for 3/3/2001: I've done a little juggling with the dates of the strips because I want to end up with a strip on St. Patrick's Day. I have my reasons. Just two more coming in the "Growing Up Goth" crossover, I think, and then the wee lass goes home. A couple footnotes for today's: the big, grassy area in the middle of DC is known as The Mall, not to be confused with some sort of shopping purgatory. Also, people with "Smile" stickers really will ambush you during the summer months. Flee, or sick the gulls on them.
New Babbler: I hate those guys that hang around on the Mall. They're the other reason Washingtonians don't hang around by the Capitol.

Within 24 hours, Bauhaus releases a new album (inspiring my inner black-hearted Goth), and Gary Gygax passes away (crushing my inner magic-user geek). What up with that, world?

I'm getting better-- the arrival of nearly 40 lbs. of temple oranges bodes for the return of full health. I'm genki enough that I'm trying out some really weird things this week-- expect amateur attempts at illustration stunts instead of plot. The blue pencil really has me trying things out.

Day 8 of this ruddy cold, and little sleep last night due to coughing. If a strip for Monday goes up, it's most likely to happen on Tuesday.
