February 19th, 2003 -- Where to?
Shading can be fun-- in a primarily black & white strip, mastering shadow can really give the scene much-needed depth and dimension. I'm not saying I've mastered shading-- far from it. You are watching me practice! I like that shade of blue, too-- kind of electric. I'm not sure what kind of limo Dean drives, but I suspect it's a Lincoln of some sort.

Within 24 hours, Bauhaus releases a new album (inspiring my inner black-hearted Goth), and Gary Gygax passes away (crushing my inner magic-user geek). What up with that, world?

I'm getting better-- the arrival of nearly 40 lbs. of temple oranges bodes for the return of full health. I'm genki enough that I'm trying out some really weird things this week-- expect amateur attempts at illustration stunts instead of plot. The blue pencil really has me trying things out.

Day 8 of this ruddy cold, and little sleep last night due to coughing. If a strip for Monday goes up, it's most likely to happen on Tuesday.
