I think this is the most panels in an Alas strip since that croquet match with Dig way back when. Shades of Akbar and Jeff, really. What would comic strip writers today do without the silent power of the "dramatic beat" panel?

Happy Halloween, gneeches! I know it's been a slow year, but I couldn't let this day go by without a strip. I'm more optimistic about next year... more specifically, next semester, when I'll only have one evening class. In the meantime, I gotta go be the stranger who hands out candy.
