March 9th, 2005 -- Sweet Bird of Youth
Hot diggity, it worked. My DSL connection is still hosed, but I can still update strips from work.
Today's strip is sort of the end of a story arc that began over a year ago. Tremendous maintenance trouble compounded by natural procrastination dragged it out to an incredible length, but I'd like to thank the Gopher for smacking me and telling me to just finish this arc and be done with it. I can now move on to a new story line with a clear conscience. Of sorts.

Happy Halloween, gneeches! I know it's been a slow year, but I couldn't let this day go by without a strip. I'm more optimistic about next year... more specifically, next semester, when I'll only have one evening class. In the meantime, I gotta go be the stranger who hands out candy.

Within 24 hours, Bauhaus releases a new album (inspiring my inner black-hearted Goth), and Gary Gygax passes away (crushing my inner magic-user geek). What up with that, world?
