March 11th, 2005 -- Bring out your bread
Welcome to the first new story arc in ages! There won't be a lot of dialogue going on, but I can promise the artwork will get a little more complex. You have to warm up the two-point perspective skills after long dormancy, you know?
It snowed last night here in Istanbul, enough to stick-- which is impressive considering last weekend I was sleeping with the windows open. It has occurred to me that this might be the last time I see snow in Istanbul for a few years, since we're heading back to the States in August. Makes one a little maudlin, which coincidentally matches perfectly with the snow on the ground.
Lord, how gawthy.

Within 24 hours, Bauhaus releases a new album (inspiring my inner black-hearted Goth), and Gary Gygax passes away (crushing my inner magic-user geek). What up with that, world?

I'm getting better-- the arrival of nearly 40 lbs. of temple oranges bodes for the return of full health. I'm genki enough that I'm trying out some really weird things this week-- expect amateur attempts at illustration stunts instead of plot. The blue pencil really has me trying things out.

Day 8 of this ruddy cold, and little sleep last night due to coughing. If a strip for Monday goes up, it's most likely to happen on Tuesday.
