March 14th, 2005 -- Prize Customer
Almost didn't post in time this morning, but you probably wouldn't have noticed unless you live in the Istanbul/Dubai time zone. That guy on the right is holding an abacus, by the way.
One of the side effects of regularly updating Alas is that now I'm regularly reading other strips again. My old links page is hopelessly out of date, but once we've done some tinkering with the layout I'll be able to direct interested parties to those sites that I hold up as goals of excellence.
Made for walkin'!

Happy Halloween, gneeches! I know it's been a slow year, but I couldn't let this day go by without a strip. I'm more optimistic about next year... more specifically, next semester, when I'll only have one evening class. In the meantime, I gotta go be the stranger who hands out candy.

Alas will be back for the month of October. How can I let a Halloween go by without her?

Within 24 hours, Bauhaus releases a new album (inspiring my inner black-hearted Goth), and Gary Gygax passes away (crushing my inner magic-user geek). What up with that, world?
