



March 23rd, 2005 -- Meanwhile...
Another loose end almost tied up. There's a lot of dealing-out-of-the-trunk on the Turkish-Bulgarian border, mainly for Turkish produce. During our trip to Sofia, every gas station on the first twenty miles of Bulgaria's main highway seemed to have a furtive flea market going on.
Note the stylin' tracksuit. It's a cliche, but by no means is it an exaggeration.

Within 24 hours, Bauhaus releases a new album (inspiring my inner black-hearted Goth), and Gary Gygax passes away (crushing my inner magic-user geek). What up with that, world?

I'm getting better-- the arrival of nearly 40 lbs. of temple oranges bodes for the return of full health. I'm genki enough that I'm trying out some really weird things this week-- expect amateur attempts at illustration stunts instead of plot. The blue pencil really has me trying things out.

Day 8 of this ruddy cold, and little sleep last night due to coughing. If a strip for Monday goes up, it's most likely to happen on Tuesday.
