May 2nd, 2005 -- Just perfect, storm
This strip may be the first time I've drawn rain to my satisfaction. The splash isn't too bad, but the waves could be better. It just ocurred to me that the ship should have been called the Demeter.

Within 24 hours, Bauhaus releases a new album (inspiring my inner black-hearted Goth), and Gary Gygax passes away (crushing my inner magic-user geek). What up with that, world?

I'm getting better-- the arrival of nearly 40 lbs. of temple oranges bodes for the return of full health. I'm genki enough that I'm trying out some really weird things this week-- expect amateur attempts at illustration stunts instead of plot. The blue pencil really has me trying things out.

Day 8 of this ruddy cold, and little sleep last night due to coughing. If a strip for Monday goes up, it's most likely to happen on Tuesday.
