Happy Friday the 13th, y'all! Touch wood.
I'm not really here today-- I'm in Jordan, probably on horseback, heading towards the mysterious ruins of Petra (you know, like in Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade). By now I've probably seen the Red Sea for the first time (and possibly the Dead Sea for the second). I'm not saying this to-- well, actually, yes, I am saying this to show off. When I was a kid all I wanted to do was travel, and now I get to do it on a regular basis. The novelty has yet to wear off.

Within 24 hours, Bauhaus releases a new album (inspiring my inner black-hearted Goth), and Gary Gygax passes away (crushing my inner magic-user geek). What up with that, world?

I'm getting better-- the arrival of nearly 40 lbs. of temple oranges bodes for the return of full health. I'm genki enough that I'm trying out some really weird things this week-- expect amateur attempts at illustration stunts instead of plot. The blue pencil really has me trying things out.

Day 8 of this ruddy cold, and little sleep last night due to coughing. If a strip for Monday goes up, it's most likely to happen on Tuesday.
