I've come to realize that one of the greatest things about living in the US is the existence of bagged ice, available for purchase. You simply cannot find bags of ice in Istanbul-- they think cold drinks are bad for your health.

I'm getting better-- the arrival of nearly 40 lbs. of temple oranges bodes for the return of full health. I'm genki enough that I'm trying out some really weird things this week-- expect amateur attempts at illustration stunts instead of plot. The blue pencil really has me trying things out.
