My brother once spent over 24 hours on a Greyhound bus, riding from Chicago to Calgary. I can only imagine what the ride would have been like had he been strapped to the roof instead. People do that regularly in West Africa, you know-- I've seen 'em do it.

Within 24 hours, Bauhaus releases a new album (inspiring my inner black-hearted Goth), and Gary Gygax passes away (crushing my inner magic-user geek). What up with that, world?

I'm getting better-- the arrival of nearly 40 lbs. of temple oranges bodes for the return of full health. I'm genki enough that I'm trying out some really weird things this week-- expect amateur attempts at illustration stunts instead of plot. The blue pencil really has me trying things out.
