December 28th, 2005 -- Why change now?
I used a couple shades of grey (marker) during the inking stage of this strip, which wreaked all kinds of havoc during the scanning stage. The grey wouldn't show up in the B/W scan, but a color scan made it too blotchy. I had to settle for the grayscale, but that still lost a bit of resolution. We live and we learn. Perhaps crosshatching is the key.

Happy Halloween, gneeches! I know it's been a slow year, but I couldn't let this day go by without a strip. I'm more optimistic about next year... more specifically, next semester, when I'll only have one evening class. In the meantime, I gotta go be the stranger who hands out candy.
