January 13th, 2006 -- Happy Detente
Smokin'. There's something rather Dragon Half about it-- combatants facing each other on a pinnacle of stone, surrounded by a trench of fire. Less certain outcome, however. I'm pleased with the smoke effect, but the landscape is rather abstract. I imagine it must be taking place somewhere in northeast DC.

Within 24 hours, Bauhaus releases a new album (inspiring my inner black-hearted Goth), and Gary Gygax passes away (crushing my inner magic-user geek). What up with that, world?

I'm getting better-- the arrival of nearly 40 lbs. of temple oranges bodes for the return of full health. I'm genki enough that I'm trying out some really weird things this week-- expect amateur attempts at illustration stunts instead of plot. The blue pencil really has me trying things out.
