Or to make cross. This strip marks the first appearance of the artist in a long, long time-- probably since the beginning of the strangeness that was the Panopticon arc. I imagine this scene taking place somewhere along Q Street or R Street-- definitely Golden Triangle territory. That's a DC thing, the GT.

Within 24 hours, Bauhaus releases a new album (inspiring my inner black-hearted Goth), and Gary Gygax passes away (crushing my inner magic-user geek). What up with that, world?

I'm getting better-- the arrival of nearly 40 lbs. of temple oranges bodes for the return of full health. I'm genki enough that I'm trying out some really weird things this week-- expect amateur attempts at illustration stunts instead of plot. The blue pencil really has me trying things out.
